Research
Overview

Our goal is to develop the research field of flash organic synthesis.
The development of science and technology has brought about great benefits for our lives. Especially, innovations for speeding-up, for example those for logistics and telecommunication, play a crucial role in the modern society.
Synthetic chemistry (organic synthetic chemistry and synthetic polymer chemistry) has also contributed to the development of the modern lives by supplying products such as biologically active materials, funcional materials, polymer materials, and so on. As the society getting sophisticated, more novel and advanced organic molecules are always required. To keep up with such soaring demands, an innovation in synthetic chemistry field focusing on accelerating the reasearch, development, and production is necessary.
We have pioneered organic syntheses in a flow microreactor, which is a novel reaction vessel, and have achieved lots of chemical transformations which are not applicable in conventional batch reactors such as flasks. Especially, we are focusing on the researches accelerating synthetic chemistry from the view point of both the reaction and the synthetic process.
