Research Overview
In the Miura Group, we construct micro-scale reaction and analysis environments by using light as a localized perturbation. Within these tiny spaces, we explore exotic physical and chemical phenomena induced by light. By employing optical tweezers, microspectroscopy/imaging, and various spectroscopic techniques, we perform molecule-level measurement and manipulation using light.
Building on the high-sensitivity optical measurement techniques and methodologies developed through these studies, we aim to pioneer and apply next-generation analytical methods.
